Stomach and digestion
The natural tannins have an astringent effect. They may calm an unsettled gut and support a balanced intestinal flora.

Finely ground heartwood of bog oak – also called black oak: ancient oaks that lay airtight beneath peat and clay for millennia. One single ingredient, one pinch a day.

It all begins with a tree that falls – into a river, a lake or a moor. The trunk sinks and is sealed off by mud, clay and peat. Without oxygen, fungi and bacteria stand no chance: the wood survives, often for thousands of years.
Over that time, minerals from the ground seep into the fibres. They darken the wood right to its core and make it harder than any fresh oak. Experts call this subfossilisation; radiocarbon dating reveals how old a find is.
Tracking down and recovering whole trunks is laborious and rarely succeeds. That is why bog oak ranks among the most precious woods of all.

Only the inner core of the recovered trunks is used. It is gently dried and then ground so finely that even a tiny amount is easy to take.
The process is designed to preserve what has formed in the moor over millennia. What ends up in the jar is pure nature – much like birch leaves or linden blossom, valued for generations.
Tannins, flavonoids and stored minerals make this wood special. These are the properties attributed to it:
The natural tannins have an astringent effect. They may calm an unsettled gut and support a balanced intestinal flora.
Tannins from the oak core are considered soothing for inflammation – whether on the skin, the gums or in the throat.
The wood is said to act against bacteria and fungi. This may help skin, gut and airways defend themselves.
Astringent compounds may ease itching and redness and help small wounds or burns heal.
The fine wood fibres may help the body absorb minerals such as iron more easily – good for the blood and oxygen transport.
A well-supplied calcium and collagen balance may strengthen bone tissue and support flexible joints.
Taken regularly, the powder may help the body excrete heavy metals such as lead or mercury.
Its soothing properties may also benefit the prostate and bladder. Many older users report calmer nights.
Flavonoids and tannins are natural antioxidants. They may neutralise free radicals and strengthen the immune system.
Bog oak powder is not a medicine or a medical device. It does not replace diagnosis or treatment by a doctor. The properties described are based on user reports and manufacturer information.
Around 250 body values were recorded three times in six participants: at the start, after six and after twelve weeks of use. The overview highlights in green where values improved.

No weighing, no mixing, no spoon.
Ideally for 6 to 12 weeks without a break. Store the jar dry, dark and at room temperature.
In Europe, yes: bog oak, black oak and the German “Mooreiche” all mean oak wood that lay without oxygen in a moor, riverbed or lake for a very long time and turned deep black. It is also called subfossil oak. Not to be confused with the North American tree species Quercus velutina, which is also known as black oak.
Briefly moisten a fingertip, dip it into the jar, take the powder that sticks and drink a large glass of water. Once a day is enough.
Just one ingredient: finely ground heartwood of bog oak that lay in the moor without oxygen for millennia. No additives, vegan.
